Relax on the backyard deck, and enjoy the rivers wild birds and water fowl, or take in a sweeping view of Drake Park, all framed by peaks of the Cascade Mountains in the distance.
The home has original wood-paneled walls, and the kitchen has the original wood cabinets. You can prepare your meal surrounded by great views! Mirror Pond has two bedrooms. The queen bedroom has an updated bathroom, with double sink and shower, and the second bedroom has two twin beds and new flooring. The second bathroom is next to the twin bedroom, and updated with combined tub and shower. And for extra sleeping, the living room sofa pulls out into a sleeper bed.
The living room has cable TV, a real wood fireplace, a dining nook with picture windows looking out to the backyard and river, and a new deck with barbecue and plenty of seating. With tall ponderosas and one of the city's oldest willow trees by the home, it's a bit like a stay in the mountains, right in the heart of Bend.
Take a walk to downtown over the Newport Bridge, or the Drake Park walking bridge, for a day of shopping or strolling the river bank. With one of our best grocery markets just blocks away on Newport, you can leave the car in the garage and just enjoy a car-less day in town.
