Where are the rentals located?
All rentals are located on the West Side of Bend or near downtown.
What is the West Side?
The Westside, a desirable area of Bend, includes the historical area of original neighborhoods close to our famous Drake Park and downtown, and also newer neighborhoods close to Mt. Bachlelor. The big advantages are that the West Side is far away from the traffic and noise of Highway 97, and that all outdoor activities are within minutes of your home or condo.
How far is Mt. Bachelor Ski Area?
On average, about 18 miles from the West Side. Several of our rentals are as close to the mountain as you can get, but none are located at or near the mountain. Inn of the 7th Mountain and Widgi Creek townhouses are the closest rentals to the ski area from Bend.
Is there lodging at Mt. Bachelor?
Mt. Bachelor is NOT a town, but a ski area located in the Deschutes National Forest at Mt. Bachelor. There is no lodging at the ski mountain and the only services available are those provided by the ski area. This gives visitors a more natural experience of seeing nature instead of loads of condos, box stores and busy highways like so many ski areas have turned into. The mountains of Mt. Bachelor, Broken Top, Three Sisters, and more, are what visitors come to see- not another resort town.
Where are services located?
Gas and food stores are all located in Bend for all your needs. During the ski season, shuttles buses are available from the Mt. Bachelor parking lot on the westside of the Deschutes River just off Colorado Blvd.
Are the homes equipped with everything?
Yes, fully equipped with linens, towels, complete kitchens, TVs and VCRs. Some homes have internet access, stereos, DVD Players, and video games.
Do they have decks and hot tubs?
Yes, some have hot tubs and most have decks.
Do you have condos and townhouses?
We have a great selection of condos and townhouses at the Courtyards at Broken Top and Widgi Creek.
Can you help with outdoor activites?
Absolutely! We are outdoor sports specialists and can book everything from whitewater rafting to your private tour of Mt. Bachelor on a powder day! This web site also contains our recommendations.
Do we clean and is there a cleaning fee?
Fee depends on length of stay and number of people. We do ask you to leave the property as you found it. Read the notes posted in the property for more details on checking out. We have professional housekeeping clean after the end of your stay. You do not make beds or clean bathrooms. You are on vacation!

The first deposit, which is half the total balance (including a room tax of 9% in Bend, or 7% for county rentals like at Widgi plus a 1% state tax on either) is due within ten days of making a reservation and we request payment in the form of a check. The final balance is due thirty days prior to arrival and may be paid either with a check or personal credit card. We do not take corporate or business credit cards.
If the reservation is for a date less than 30 days away, we ask for full payment at the time of making your reservation. Stays of thirty days or longer must be paid with a check.
